Cuchara Mountain Park is a small ski area just outside the town of LeVeta in Southern Colorado – in the Sange de Cristos.

The small ski area was abandoned in 2000 and then in 2019 the Panadero Ski Corp* acquired the area with the intention of refurbishing and reopening the ski area.  They’re shooting to again be open for skiing and winter fun for the 2023 – 24 ski season.

But…they need help…they need additional funds to get it done.

Check out their story:  CucharaMountainPark.org. Then, if you can, donate.

*Panadero Ski Corp is a 501(c)3 business entity.

“Since I first put on skis in 1976, I’ve been hooked on skiing.  I have a passion for the sport and for keeping the little ones safe when they’re learning to ski and ride.

I recently learned about Cuchara Mountain Park and of the efforts of a group of volunteers who are working to re-open Cuchara for skiing.  I love the idea.  I’m donating money and ski gear to help them achieve their goal.

If you have a few extra bucks….please help them out.”
